island fever ranting...

Greed
They make me laugh. Its not enough they own the island, and we have to do everything they say, pay huge amounts of money to live here, be blamed for everything, made fun at and of course bled dry for cash. Tesco came to Thailand years ago, and joined forces with Lotus. they are the biggest supermarket chain in Thailand. They employ huge amounts of (fairly useless, in Samui's case) staff. They provide Parking, Resturants, here there is a cinema, bowling alley, banks, many useful services. Oh and of course, about 20 units selling mobile phones, to the numerous Thai's who are so wealthy they can buy a new phone every other week (notice in Bangkok, they buy and sell second hand one's....mmm not here)
